Moving is horrible
It has upset the dogs terribly. Enzo keeps throwing up his food. But we are finally actually in the new house. Today should be the last day of moving any object, then I scrub the old place and hand in the keys. Then, I get a bunch of really long days at the barn to make up for the stuff I haven’t been doing. We’ve been checking horses, no doubt about that; horses first. But I’m afraid the laundry and weedwacking are falling behind, just to mention a few things.
We did get a huge donation of horse blankets and polo wraps, courtesy of Bruno and Barbara. That was pretty cool. And the grey horse, Reggie, has determined he cannot possibly wear a shoe on his right front. Just not his style. I keep telling him “his style” is wearing pretty thin, but he doesn’t seem to be listening. J3 is going to bring him some bell boots and make him live in those for a while. Take that, horse. And I’ve got to call Tamio and get another set of trims done, and the vet for the next round of teeth. Back to busy, but at least it isn’t heavy lifting! Next time I move, I don’t care if I have to take out a bank loan, I’m paying someone else to do this stuff.
