The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation barn at James Madison’s Montpelier Estate in Orange County, Va. is open to the public by appointment.
The barn will be staffed by knowledgeable volunteers who will be available to show visitors around the stable, introduce them to some of our rescue horses, and answer questions about Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. Each volunteer will have written information available on all of our adoption and fostering programs as well. Our brochures will be available in the visitor center and new signs will be installed directing visitors to the barn. Additionally, our book, Saving Leslie Jones, is now available in the gift shop at the visitor center.
You can also call Kim to schedule a tour and meet some of the horses. 540-748-7199
